In the evening, take a walk around the town and visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a serene temple located in the middle of a small park. Relax and prepare for your journey into Bhutan the next day. After collecting your Bhutan travel permits, drive to the capital city, Thimphu. The journey takes about 6–7 hours and is filled with stunning mountain views, winding roads, and riverside villages. Walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan, and if time allows, take a short hike to the charming Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple. Return to Thimphu in the evening.

Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley, the Memorial Chorten, the Takin Preserve (home of Bhutan’s national animal),And simply Bhutan and the Folk Heritage Museum.After lunch, head to Paro. On the way, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, an iron-chain bridge built by the legendary Tibetan bridge-builder Thangtong Gyalpo. Reach Paro by evening, check into your hotel, and explore the quaint town with its traditional wooden houses and vibrant handicraft shops. Overnight: Paro
Wake up early for the highlight of your Bhutan trip — the hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Perched on a cliff side 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley, this sacred site is both a spiritual and physical adventure. The hike takes around 5–6 hours round trip, and pony rides are available halfway.
