Day 1
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport– Transfer to Phuentsholing
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and begin your journey to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. The drive takes about 3 hours and offers a transition from the Indian plains to the foothills of the Himalayas. Once in Phuentsholing, check into your hotel and submit your travel documents for the Bhutan Entry Permit. In the evening, take a walk around the town and visit Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a serene temple located in the middle of a small park. Relax and prepare for your journey into Bhutan the next day. Day 2
Phuentsholing to Thimphu
After collecting your Bhutan travel permits, drive to the capital city, Thimphu. The journey takes about 6–7 hours and is filled with stunning mountain views, winding roads, and riverside villages. You'll notice the architecture and atmosphere begin to change as you gain elevation. Enroute Stops kharbandi Goenpa ,Wangkha waterfall .Arrive in Thimphu by evening, check in to your hotel . Overnight: Thimphu
Day 3
Day Trip to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Start early for a day trip to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at the Dochula Pass (3,100 meters) and admire the 108 memorial chortens with panoramic views of the snow-covered Himalayas (on clear days). Continue to Punakha, where you’ll explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho and Mo Chhu rivers. Walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan, and if time allows, take a short hike to the charming Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple. Return to Thimphu in the evening.
Day 4
Thimphu Sightseeing – Transfer to Paro
Spend the morning exploring Thimphu’s cultural highlights. Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley, the Memorial Chorten, the Takin Preserve (home of Bhutan’s national animal),And simply Bhutan and the Folk Heritage Museum.After lunch, head to Paro. On the way, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, an iron-chain bridge built by the legendary Tibetan bridge-builder Thangtong Gyalpo. Reach Paro by evening, check into your hotel, and explore the quaint town with its traditional wooden houses and vibrant handicraft shops. Overnight: Paro
Day 5
Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
Wake up early for the highlight of your Bhutan trip — the hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Perched on a cliff side 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley, this sacred site is both a spiritual and physical adventure. The hike takes around 5–6 hours round trip, and pony rides are available halfway. After returning, enjoy lunch and then visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong),the National Museum (Ta Dzong),and the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. In the evening, treat yourself to a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overnight: Paro
Day 6
Paro – Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Departure
Today is your departure day. Start early for the long drive back from Paro to Siliguri via Phuentsholing, which takes around 9 hours. Enjoy your final glimpses of Bhutan’s mountains, rivers, and villages. MAKE SURE YOUR FLIGHTS IS SCHEDULE AFTER 5PM
